Tips on how to meet the band at a concert (if possible)?

I'm going to the Blink 182/ MCR concert on 8/5 and I would do anything to meet MCR or at least one of them. I said to my mom that if we get there early they might be walking around outside waiting or what ever because I see so many videos of people who meet them (mostly Frankie) and they all say they got there super early. But my mom said that they don't just walk around before show. If you have ever been to an MCR concert (or anyone I guess) and you have ever meet one of the band mates, how did you do it?
