Why do Americans feel so sure that Muslims are the aggressors and not Americans?

If that is what you are suggesting in the question, then what about the Shiita Islam Theocracies that rule many countries in the Middle East. You have Egypt, Syria, Lebannon, Iraq, Iran, Bahrain, and several other nations that have Islamic lead governments that are much much worse then the west. The democracies of the west provide more freedom to the people then the people in these countries. Woman are not allowed to vote, gays are persecuted, the government's law is based directly from the Koran. I do also agree that organized religion is highly destructive.
