Why does he ask these things?

Last night my boyfriend's best friend, Matt, had a fight with his parents. My boyfriend, Frankie, asked if they could come to my house and hang out because Matt was going to spend the night with Frankie, but they didn't want to go straight to the house first. So they get here and we play guitar hero. They leave, but when Frankie gets online he asks me, "Do you like Matt? It's ok if you do. A lot of people like him." I really didn't understand why he was asking that. I told him that I barely knew Matt and that I didn't like him like that. I thought he was a cool guy, but I have no idea who Matt really is. Any way, I get offline because I don't want to hear anymore of it (and my ego was really hurt by that question). I get up this morning, and Frankie has left me a message on Facebook saying, "Ewww Matt just brought up you and Kris (my ex) sex. I don't think I want to know about that." I never had sex with Kris. I'm not sure what to do, or why Frankie is telling/asking weird things. Please help. I would greatly appreciate it.
